Annotation. The article is devoted to the study of the role of innovative technologies in the correctional and developmental work of a speech therapist teacher as a condition for improving the quality of education. It examines the concepts and types of modern technologies used in speech therapy, which provides an opportunity for more effective learning and individualization of the educational process for children with speech disorders. The advantages and disadvantages of using these technologies in the practice of speech therapists are discussed.
Keywords: innovative technologies; correctional and developmental work; teacher-speech therapist; individualization of training; quality of education.
In the modern educational process, there is a clear trend towards the introduction of innovative technologies, which is especially relevant in the field of correctional and developmental work. Students with special educational needs require an individual approach, and the use of new technologies can significantly improve the effectiveness of the educational process. This article examines the importance of innovative technologies in the activities of speech therapy teachers as a factor in improving the quality of education.
Innovative technologies in the educational process are new methods, approaches and tools that help in the preparation and implementation of educational material, ensuring more effective development of knowledge. In the correctional and developmental work of a speech therapist teacher, these technologies include both traditional methods and modern digital tools. The main methods include:
Multimedia technologies: the use of audio and video materials, which allows students with different learning styles to learn information more easily and interestingly. For example, videocollections showing correct pronunciation can be useful for visual learners.
Interactive learning: the use of interactive tools that enable children not only to perceive information, but also to actively interact with it. For example, using touch panels or digital drawings to develop your speech skills.
Social Media and Collaboration Platforms: Using platforms like Google Classroomallows teachers and students to interact outside of traditional classroom walls. Students can share their progress and come back to the materials at a convenient time.
Speech therapy teachers actively use the latest trends in technology to create individualized and interactive learning. Here are some examples:
Software applications for diagnostics and correction of speech disorders. For example, programs like "Speech Therapist Art" and "Govorun" provide interactive tasks that can be adapted to the individual needs of the student, and also allow you to track the dynamics of learning progress.
Lesson development using augmented reality (AR) technologies: using mobile applications that allow you to "animate" letters, pictures, and even whole words. This helps students remember information better, as they see it in dynamics.
Game techniques: Speech therapists can use board and computer games based on speech tasks. Competitive games can increase students ' motivation. For example, Word Marathon or Phonogram games can improve your phonemic perception skills.
The use of innovative technologies in the work of a speech therapist has its advantages and disadvantages.
The advantages of using innovative technologies in correctional and developmental work include:
Increase student motivation: technological tools make learning more fun, and a variety of methods keep students interested at a high level.
Individualization of the educational process: modern technologies make it easy to adapt programs to the specific needs and level of development of each child, which is especially important for people with disabilities.
Broad access to resources: Using the Internet gives you access to a wide variety of educational materials, includingvideo tutorials, workbooks, and tests.
Disadvantages may include:
Technology addiction: it is important to remember that technical tools cannot completely replace live communication, which is necessary for full-fledged speech development.
Technical difficulties: Poor internet quality or technical glitches may hinder learning. Teachers should be prepared to deal with such problems.
In a study conducted by Professor Sidorova in 2022, it was found that students who use multimedia resources during speech therapy classes show 30% better progress in speech development compared to traditional teaching methods. It is also important to note that in the practice of using technologies, speech therapy teachers record that working with interactive resources significantly improves the emotional background of classes, which, in turn, contributes to better assimilation of the material.
An example of successful implementation of innovative technologies in the educational process is the method of using neural networks to analyze speech errors and form individual training programs. Studies such as Dorofeeva's work (2021) demonstrate that multimedia approaches significantly activate cognitive processes and increase the level of involvement of children in the educational process.
The use of innovative technologies in the correctional and developmental work of a speech therapist is an important factor in improving the quality of education. These methods contribute not only to a deeper assimilation of the material, but also develop students ' creative abilities, making the learning process more personalized and effective. The prospects for further development of this area lie in the integration of new technologies and continuous training of teachers, which, in turn, will contribute to an ever-increasing increase in the quality of education.
